Youth Soccer Answers is a free, ad-supported resource for soccer parents and volunteer coaches in the United States and Canada, publishing plain-language answers to the questions families actually ask about youth soccer age groups, gear, drills, rules, and formations.

How we work
Every page is checked against current published rules from US Soccer, US Club Soccer, AYSO, MLS NEXT, and Canada Soccer. We update pages when governing bodies change rules - most recently the 2026-27 US Soccer seasonal-year calendar shift. If a rule changes and this site is out of date, please email us.
How we make money
The site is free to use. We run a small amount of display advertising and earn affiliate commissions on some gear recommendations. Recommendations are based on what actually fits youth players, not what pays the highest commission - we say when a $40 pair of cleats beats a $200 pair.
